Composition: Ondansetron 4 mg 

Mondans is a brand name for ondansetron. It is prescribed for the treatment of nausea and vomiting. The symptoms are caused by surgery, cancer chemotherapy, and radiation treatment. The formulation works by blocking the chemical that causes nausea and vomiting. It is also suggested for gastroenteritis. It is an effective treatment for various etiologies.

Precautions

• The medicine is not suggested to be used if the individual has received apomorphine(Apokyn). Mixing the two can cause serious issues.
• The medicine can cause some serious allergic reactions, which may include anaphylaxis( fast acting life threatening allergic reaction). Severe allergic reactions require immediate medical attention. Contact the healthcare professional for symptoms such as rash, itching, hoarseness, and swelling of the hands, face,e or mouth. 
• Changes in heart rhythm and feeling dizzy or faint require doctor consultation. Also let the doctor know if your family history involves heart rhythm problems, including QT prolongation. 
• Check if you’re going through some symptoms of anxiety, restlessness, sweating, fever, and diarrhea. These symptoms are associated with the severe condition of serotonin syndrome. 
• The medicine can cause some serious heart problems known as myocardial ischemia. This condition refers to the low blood supply to the heart. Check for chest pain, nausea, pain or discomfort in the arm, jaw, back or neck.
• Do not drive or do anything cautions as the medicine can cause dizziness. 

Storage 

• Keep the medicine in the foil pouch until you use it. Store the medicine at room temperature.
• Medicine should be placed ina  dry place away from moisture 
• Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
• Do not use the outdated medicine.
• Do not freeze
